Before proceeding to any repair or services we suggest our customers read and agree to our terms.
By using the services provided by Macguys Ltd you are entering into a contract with us.
The parts which are only provided by manufacturers are to be used. Also, we assist our customers during the warranty period for our services. It is completely the responsibility of customers to keep track of the manufacturer’s warranty and this may be the case, manufacturers’ warranty may be inoperative at the time of repair.
we will charge the minimum amount of £60.00 upon the diagnostic of the computer and for the phone, it will be £30.00.
Note: No refund of amount would be done at our end.
Important information for customers:
Data loss: The customer themselves are responsible for backing up all the data to their personal Computers. Company Officials are not responsible for any kind of data loss, picture, information or programming of your system. Additional Charges will be applied for maintaining a backup of your files if backup yet not done. Kindly note that, During our intensive diagnostics, mechanical failure to your hard disk or other components may occur without any warning.
Also, the case of virus and malware infections can also arise which can damage your data and also may lead to unpredictable problems.
In some cases, the Operating system needs to be re-installed which includes wiping off the hard disk.
Before wiping or re-installing the hard disk, we ask you to keep the backup of your data if not already stored (Note: data backup is not always successful, it depends upon the status of the storage media). You must take care of manudfacturer’s warranty of system or component. Its your responsibility to access the effect of repair on manufacturer’s warranty.
Our timings of Repair and Diagnostics:
we aim to deliver our services as promptly as possible. Although the service time is defined to you. In some cases, it may take longer than defined. We try to resolve your issue within 3-5 business days. If the repair has to take a longer time, we will notify you for the same. repair time will depend upon the availability of the part.
we will be requiring your personal details like name, address, phone number, and email address and administrative password details of your device to perform service.
For all non-trade services, there is a three(3) month warranty on parts of the product and labor required to fix the problem, otherwise stated. If the same problem arises even after fixing the issue, either we’ll try to fix it at no extra cost or if we are unable to fix the problem we’ll assure you the refund of payment for the services performed. Also, the refund is not valid if there is fault arise in other components after servicing the device or caused due to improper use of software, downloaded material, virus and malware infections, or faults arising due to accidental damage or improper use of the product.
Kindly note that Standard charges will be applied if we’ll arrange the courier delivery or otherwise you are responsible for returning it at your own expense. And all the payments will and can be due till the complete repair is done and the payment must be deposited prior to the release of the device.
Subjected to a confidentiality agreement or as required by the law, Macguys Ltd. agrees not to disclose any kind of information or data files supplied, stored or recovered from the client’s device.
It will be your responsibility to make arrangements for any device that is abandoned during the repair procedure for the next 30 days, otherwise, it will either be recycled or may be disposed of.
We will not be held responsible for any kind of inaccuracy in the details provided by you during the booking. It is mandatory for you to check your details in the receipt and in email.
